The mission of Vestavia Dance is to experience dance in a caring, compassionate and creative environment by contributing beauty in movement. Fostering students with the love and discipline of the art through the expression and development of their God given gifts and talents.

We welcome ALL dancers, all levels and all ages from two to 18! We have a strong Recreational Dance program where students can explore dance as beginners at any age. Our beautiful studio, located in the Lighthouse of VHUMC, offers classes in pre- ballet, ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, clogging, and tap.

In addition to our Pre-dance and Recreational curriculum, we are proud to invite dancers to join our Award-winning Vestavia Dance Performance Company: VDPC. Competing at local level and traveling to conventions, our current dancers have achieved high scoring accolades, numerous scholarships and National Recognition. Locally, our VDPC dancers can currently be seen on Vestavia and the Birmingham area’s Junior High and High School Dance Teams, as Cheerleaders, Drill Team members and in leadership roles within their schools. We encourage dancers to take their love of the arts and stay active within our VHUMC and community.

Additionally, our Vestavia Dance student alums have graduated with honors and many have continued on to accomplish professional goals in dance and received College Scholarships.
