Food Pantry Distribution
Our food pantry meets every other week for distribution. For your safety, our food distribution is a drive through distribution from 9:00 – 11:30 am every other Wednesday. Distribution is under the main campus parking lot entering on Kentucky Avenue.

Car Ministry
VHMC has a car ministry for people currently working and do not have reliable transportation to get to and from work. You must be currently working, 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and have no other car in your immediate household to apply.
We are able to help in the following two ways:
1 – Provide cars to those meeting the criteria listed above. These are used cars that have been approved by a mechanic. You will be required to show proof of insurance at the time of placement.
2 – Repair cars that you own to those meeting the criteria listed above. We will assess your needs and discuss options.
We are not accepting applications for the car ministry portion of those needing a car until January 2027.
The car repair ministry is open and the application is attached below. Please complete this application and email, mail or hand-‐deliver to the church (2061 Kentucky Ave. Vestavia Hills, AL 35216)
The completion and delivery of this application to VHMC does NOT guarantee that a vehicle will be provided to or that a vehicle will be repaired for the applicant. Please also be aware that this is a process that may take several months. The car ministry application is not for an immediate emergency need.
