The Year to Serve – September

Our theme this month is Disaster Relief.  The month of September is a time when natural disasters are more prevalent in the world.  This month each week will have a serve opportunity that helps others in case of a natural disaster.

Purchase Walmart/Target gift cards and bring to the missions office to be donated to those in need.

Volunteer this week to help pack flood buckets.  Once all flood buckets are packed, they will be delivered to the UMCOR warehouse in Decatur, AL.  Volunteers needed to drive completed buckets to the warehouse.

This week’s opportunity is to donate an item to the fall festival as a mission opportunity.
