2024 Camp Sessions

Session 1: May 28 – 31 (closed 5/27)

Mission Impossible Spy Camp

This camp is designed to transport your child on a fantastic adventure as they train to be a spy.  Each day they will decode puzzles, break secret codes, solve mysteries, dress up in costumes and complete fun fitness challenges.  This camp is always a huge favorite!


Session 2a: June 3 – 7

American Girl Doll

We will give you everything you need to know about making new friends and making the most of the friendships you already have.  We will encourage children to make new friends, make friendships last, and celebrate friendships in a biblically based curriculum.  We encourage each camper to bring in their favorite AGD and accessories daily!


Session 2b: June 3 – 7

Olympic Games

Our Summer Days Olympic Games will bring excitement and an opportunity to learn about different sports you may not have heard about or tried.  Did you know that the number one reason why kids play sports is to have FUN? This camp will include a healthy mix of an Opening Ceremony, Sports, Crafts, and Awards during the week for your child to enjoy all things Olympic.


Session 3: June 10 – 14

Vacation Bible Camp

Join us on an exciting journey where they learn to trust God no matter what situation life brings, know God is always with them, and feel confident in sharing the good news of God’s love through Jesus Christ. Click the link below to register for VHMC’s Vacation Bible Camp, which is $5 per camper.

Additional Options Summer Days will offer this week:
$75 Drop-in care: Friday, June 14, from 7:00 am-5:30 pm (includes a hot lunch)

$90 Extended care after VBC: June 10-14

$25 Lunch: June 10-14

**Please note that campers must have completed Kindergarten to be eligible for extended care or drop-in care after VBC.

Session 4: June 17, 18, 20 & 21 (closed 6/19)

Lego Camp

Dream It. Build It. Wreck It.  Repeat.  Kids are natural creators. We will dive into our Lego Parts and build elaborate objects, structures, and vehicles.  Students will be engaged by a new theme each day.


Session 5: June 24 – 28


It’s Summer in Alabama and that means… HOT, HOT, HOT! Each Day campers will enjoy fun WATER activities to splash their way to a Cooler Summer.

* Field trips will be taken off-site this week so there is a $80 transportation fee.


Session 6: July 1, 2, & 3

There is no camp scheduled this week, but we are offering the following for drop-in care:

$75 July 1 (includes a hot lunch and extended care) 7:00 am-5:30 pm

$75 July 2 (includes a hot lunch and extended care)  7:00 am-5:30 pm

$40 July 3 (includes a hot lunch and early care)  7:00 am-1:00 pm


Session 7: July 8 – 12

Mad Scientist*

Calling all Mad Scientists! Do Explosions, oozing and fizzing substances, and slightly gross things make you excited?  Our scientists will be exploring and investigating the many types of sciences from chemistry to engineering and will end the week with a visit to the McWane Center.

* Field trips will be taken off-site this week so there is a $20 transportation fee.


Session 8: July 15 – 19

Game On

Spend the week getting your GAME ON! Campers will get the chance to play games of all shapes and sizes.  Classic sports to board games to video games come to life, it’s GAME ON!


Session 9: July 22 – 26

Music and Arts Presents the Lion King

Come join us for an exciting week of music, art, singing, instruments, and movement. This year we will explore the Disney musical The Lion King as a main theme for the week. All ages are invited to be a part of this wonderful week as we work on a show using various music and arts activities. A final presentation of all the children have learned will be on Friday, July 26 at 12:00 pm in Tyson Hall.


Session 10: July 29 – August 2

Pay it Forward/ Serve Camp*

Jesus embodies and modeled for us that serving others is essential to being a disciple of Christ. Acts of Kindness have the potential to make the world a better and happier place. This week is all about serving with kindness. You never know how the act can have a snowball effect, encouraging everyone to do the same.  This is a unique, hands-on experience where they can discover for themselves the power love can bring. This camp will inspire and challenge our youth to live life as a servant leaders.
