Walking with Jesus
During 2024, our entire church family will be Walking with Jesus. During this yearly focus, our community will be intentionally introducing new ways for each of us to encounter Christ, build our relationship with him, and be transformed by his grace for us.
The year will begin with 21 days of prayer. During the first few weeks of January, everyone is invited to join us in Tyson Hall at 6:15 am for a time of prayer and worship. 21 Days of Prayer will begin at the start of the new year with our first in person gathering being Tuesday January 2.
Throughout the year we encourage everyone to deepen their faith by following along with our Walking with Jesus devotionals. Each day these devos will have a scripture reading, a brief reflection, guided prayer, and space to journal your thoughts and write down what God might be putting on your heart. These will be available every quarter and you’ll be able to pick up a hard copy here at church or download a digital copy below.
Another way our yearly focus will take shape is that all of our sermon series this year will be geared towards the gospels and studying the life, ministry, and teachings of Jesus. And we want to encourage everyone to bring their devotionals and engage with the messages by making notes.
Walking With Jesus Daily Devotions
This devotional book will help us on our journey. Each day we will read scripture, reflect on how it applies to our lives, and then spend time in prayer. Also, each Sunday, the passage of scripture will be the focus of our message in our worship services. You may pickup one of these at the church, or click below to download a digital version.
21 Days of Prayer
We begin 2024 with early morning church-wide prayer and worship. This season of congregational prayer is vital as we seek the Lord’s will for our church; submit the year to Him for His glory; pray for our ministries, our neighbors, the nations, the lost; and seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.
